Remolino Project#1 ICHIKO AOBA × YUKI FUJISAWA collaboration work released

NEWS | 2023/09/07

``REMOLINO PROJECT'' is sponsored by musician Ichiko Aoba's label ``hermine'' with the goal of sustainable living. As the first step, we will be presenting one-of-a-kind garments made with foil stamping on old clothes that you have lying around at home.

In collaboration with YUKI FUJISAWA, Ichiko Aoba and her staff decorated a total of 12 items of clothing, including mementos from the tour, with foil stamping.

The completed works will be on sale at Ichiko Aoba WEB SHOP from 12:00 on Sunday, September 17th.

In addition, a making-of video by video director Kyotaro Hayashi will be released on the official Youtube from today. At YUKI FUJISAWA's atelier, we recorded the process of creating each item with all our heart.

We will continue to collect used clothing at Ichiko Aoba's concert venue. Please feel free to bring any clothes you would like to pass on to the next person.

✦————✦

Limorino project.
"Remolino" means "vortex" or "rolling up" in Spanish.
We named it with the goal of not only creating something new, but also creating a system that can circulate.

We will reconsider the future of manufacturing and artist goods.
By facing the lifespan of things around us and using them with care for as long as possible, we hope that our lives and our limited resources will become more peaceful and gentle.
Even if the action is small at the beginning, the aim is for it to gradually spiral and expand.

For the memorable first step, we borrowed the help of YUKI FUJISAWA to stamp the sleeping clothes with foil.
